Starting at $2.75/sq ft. Real wood. Timeless warmth. Free quote in 10 minutes.
There's nothing quite like real hardwood underfoot. The warmth, the grain, the way it ages and develops character over the years — hardwood floors are timeless for a reason. They add value to every home and never go out of style. Whether you're going with classic red oak, modern white oak, rich walnut, or reclaimed barnwood, real wood floors make a statement that no imitation can match.
In Southern Utah's dry, hot climate, engineered hardwood is typically the smarter choice over solid hardwood. Engineered planks have a real wood veneer on top with a stable plywood core underneath — they look and feel identical to solid wood, but they resist the expansion and contraction that desert conditions cause. We install engineered hardwood as floating, glue-down, or nail-down depending on your subfloor and the product specifications.
We also install solid hardwood where conditions allow, particularly on plywood subfloors in single-story homes with consistent climate control. Every hardwood installation starts with acclimation — we bring the wood into your home days before installation so it adjusts to your indoor humidity. We handle all subfloor prep, installation, transitions, and trim. Most hardwood projects take 2–4 days.

“I texted a photo at 9pm and had my price by 9:10. The shower turned out more beautiful than anything I'd pinned on Pinterest.”
Engineered hardwood is generally the better choice here. Southern Utah's low humidity and temperature swings cause solid hardwood to expand and contract more than other climates. Engineered planks have a stable core that handles these conditions without gapping or cupping.
Engineered hardwood can be glued down directly to concrete with proper moisture testing and prep. Solid hardwood over concrete requires a plywood subfloor system. We'll assess your space and recommend the right approach.
Real hardwood floors last 50–100+ years. Engineered hardwood can be refinished 1–3 times depending on the veneer thickness. Solid hardwood can be refinished many more times. Either way, it's a lifetime investment.
White oak is the most popular right now — it's hard, stable, and takes stain beautifully. Red oak is a classic. Hickory is the hardest domestic option and hides wear well. We supply all major species from trusted distributors.
